"Farm Land"

This is a Trompe L'oeil created for Casual Dining and Barstools in San Diego, CA.

Acrylic 13 ft x 9.5 ft = 123.5 sq. ft.

"Red Chinese Walls With Bamboo"

This wall has a red Venetian Plaster troweled on. After this was completed, hand painted bamboo bordering the bed,

a "Half Moon" in Venetian Plaster of various colors and a matching stencil pattern on top of wall and below half moon.

Over this a wax was buffed to a high luster.

Venetian Plaster is designed to be added in very thin coats, usually from between 3 to 15, depending on the

desired effects. It is a very old technique traced as far back as the Middle ages. It's main ingredients are

Marble Dust and a Lime mix...This can be polished & buffed to a high luster.

This mural was painted in a very subtle and delicate color range for a large bathroom...It is a nice country garden scene inside

a vine covered, arched opening. The surrounding walls were faux painted an off white with a sea sponge.

We then calculated the placement of Trompe L'oeil stones and added the grout lines and architectural embellishments to finish it off.
