![]() "Steps To The Sea"
This mural was done for the joy & illusion of "Entering a hallway leading down to the sea".
After brainstorming ideas, I suggested that we replace the two smaller doors with one large door.
The door would have a piano hinge on left side and instead of a visible handle would have a magnetic,
touch opening system when pressed. I painted the door in studio and it was installed on site.
![]() After installation we applied a Venetian Plaster to surrounding walls to expand the artistic effect.
I then aged / woodgrained the baseboard and trim followed by a clear-coat protective application to all.

![]() While Painting, I decided to add "The Star of India" sailing ship and the Coronado Islands in the distance.........................Vine close-up on right.
