Red Chinese Wall with Bamboo This wall has a red Venetian Plaster troweled on. After this was completed, hand painted bamboo bordering the bed, a "Half Moon" in Venetian Plaster of various colors and a matching stencil pattern on top of wall and below half moon. Over this a wax was buffed to a high luster.         Venetian Plaster is designed to be added in very thin coats, usually from between 3 to 15, depending on the   desired effects. It is a very old technique traced as far back as the Middle ages. It's main ingredients are Marble Dust and a Lime mix...This can be polished & buffed to a high luster.
