Trompe L'oeil Murals And “Trick the Eye” Effects...
Who doesn't love the art of trompe l'oeil (tromp loy)? Trompe L'oeil is a French term for “Fool the Eye”…and that’s
exactly what it does. Is that a painted bird on that open windowsill…or will it fly away into the blue sky? Are those red drapes
painted on the wall or are they real? This is an exacting technique using precise shadows and vanishing points.
