In North Park News Sept. 2003
North Park Artist Rik Erickson has completed a 135 foot long mural
at Ocean View Boulevard at Interstate 15. It covers what has been a
constant graffiti target with bold images and quotes meant to inspire behavior
other than graffiti. “The painting took about ten days for me.” Says Erickson.
The planning and approval took a year. The artist has also painted two utility
boxes in North Park in front of the North Park Theater and across from Sumner and Dene.
